One way to Treat Impotence: treat male impotence with Surgery
One way to treat impotence is to treat it with surgery. Variations in surgical male enhancement techniques have helped men out for decades.
Types of Procedures
Different types of surgical procedures have been used to treat male impotence. The most popular ones include the following:
Implants (prosthesis)-One of the most remarkable ones are probably the inflatable kind. Once this kind is installed, it is worked by squeezing a small pump, which is implanted in the scrotum. Malleable implants work in a similar way as the inflatable implants, but it requires manual adjustment versus use of a pump.
Cardiovascular surgery-Certain veins in the penis are responsible for blood flow, which causes erection. This type of procedure helps unblock the flow of blood that sometimes results in impotence. The long-term outcome is still being questioned. However, it may work.
Phalloplasty-Versions of this procedure help increase the length of the penis. Sometimes combinations of procedures can help enhance both. It was first used in the 1980s on subjects who suffered the plight of having a “micropenis.” It was first engineered by a Chinese doctor.
Tissue Grafting and Free Fat Transfer-These are two methods by which the thickness of the penis can be increased. Free fat transfer is also referred to as “lipo sculpture.” Both the lip sculpture and the tissue grafting procedures provide similar results.
Laser surgery-Some of the old methods of enlarging or widening the penis now can be done using laser surgery. This is less invasive and results in far less scarring than traditional surgical enlarging methods.
Risks
The complications and risks of receiving penis enlargement surgeries vary. It depends upon the candidate’s overall health condition.
Sometimes scarring can occur, and the healing time may vary. On occasion, irregularities may take place and these may be correctible, but you cannot always be sure.
There is always a chance that certain procedures may not work either. In some cases (such as with Phalloplasty) the procedure can be redone.
In some cases, fatty tissue taken from a cadaver (dead body) and placed in a person’s penis. This would also be less invasive. However, it could cause contamination in the patient.
In short, no matter which surgical method you choose it does have the potential for complication. Therefore; research carefully, ask plenty of questions, and choose wisely. Your future depends on it.
